A Letter From the Radis

Dear Friends,

Greetings from the Radi Family!!!! We are back in Argentina and have hit the ground running!!!! But we didn´t want to let too much time pass before sharing our appreciation to you all for the wonderful deputation tour we had this year.  At some point between Dec 2011 and Feb 2012, we were honored to be in your church.  When I say honored, I am speaking the truth because our time with you all was one of refreshment, joy and feeling pampered.  Thank you for your giving, that you for your hospitality and most of all, thank you for your friendship.

Never have we experienced a deputation tour that was so full and packed with services.  I was worried we wouldn't make it!  In Jan and Feb we spoke 87 times!!!!! But in all truth, it was one of the most encouraging and blessed tours we have had.  This is because of you.  Thank you for your love.

As we jump into ministry here in Argentina again, things are good but crazy.  The girls started their school year and are doing very well. We arrived in our local church to find 30 new teenagers who have never been to church before, so attendance is higher than ever!!! And so is the work load!!! HA!  Our assignments at the Southern Cone Field Office are as busy as ever- especially now since many of your churches are looking into coming on a Work and Witness team!!! YEAH!!!!

Please continue to pray for the ministry God has given us here.  Our local church was broken into on Saturday night and some musical instruments were taken.  Pray for the spiritual growth of these new teenagers as we disciple them.  Pray for our girls and their education, protection and spiritual growth.  And pray for us- Carlos and I are enjoying the ministry God has set before us during this time.  May we be servants worthy of His calling.  Oh, and continue to pray and seek the Lord as you possibly plan to come down to Argentina or Chile on a team!!!

Lots of love,
Your missionaries, Carlos and Robin Radi

World Water Day 2012

On March 22, 2012, people around the world will join together to remember the nearly one in seven people who go without clean water today and every day. On World Water Day, as we pray for people who face drought, waterborne diseases, lack of sanitation, and other water-related natural disasters, may the love God has given to us inspire our prayers to move us to action.
Many people in the world’s driest areas with the least water infrastructure (such as wells, water catchment systems, and sanitation systems), walk an average of four miles to reach water sources that are often unclean. But the problem doesn’t stop there. Without water, people don’t have the chance to grow food for their families.

This is not their problem – it is our problem.

Jesus said, “If anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones who is my disciple, truly I tell you, that person will certainly not lose their reward” (Matthew 10:42).

Remember tomorrow to pray, seek how you can be involved and act!
